Canon 7D is the only camera in its Canon ZCK subclass, the newer EOS 6D is already full frame, while the EOS 50D and EOS 60D are lower.

FEATURES
Up to 8 frames per second
Capture 18 million pixels of 14-bit images at 8 fps as standard, and shoot up to 126 large JPEG images in burst mode, allowing photographers to capture every detail and capture every action.
High ISO values
For handheld photography in low light conditions, the EOS 7D Mark ISO offers high ISO values up to 6400. Expand to ISO 12800 when shooting in low light conditions where flash usage is undesirable.
Comfortable viewfinder
The viewfinder of the EOS 7D with 100% view and 1.0x magnification provides a complete and natural overview of the object. A handy viewfinder provides shooting information, including an electronic level on two axes for the perfect horizontal position.
The 19-point cross-type autofocus system
A new design of the AF sensor with “Region” and “Spot Metering” autofocus modes provides photographers with new ways to select autofocus. All dots are cross-type, with the centre point using both f/2.8 and f/5.6 sensors.
iFCL exposure metering system
A new 63-zone two-layer exposure metering sensor analyzes focus, colour and light data for accurate and consistent metering.
DIGIC 4
Canon’s dual “DIGIC 4” processors give the EOS 7D enough power to deliver superb colour reproduction using a high-resolution CMOS sensor. DIGIC 4 also delivers 14-bit image processing, superior noise reduction, long battery life, face-priority AF and Full HD video recording.

Built-in Speedlite transmitter
